On their second visit Joseph made himself known to his brothers again, and Joseph’s family ¹  became known to Pharaoh.

Joseph ¹  took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, ² 

When Pilate ¹  was informed by the centurion, ²  he gave the body to Joseph.

So they ¹  proposed two candidates: ²  Joseph called Barsabbas (also called Justus) and Matthias.

until another king who did not know about ¹  Joseph ruled ²  over Egypt. ³ 

and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, by whom ¹  Jesus was born, who is called Christ. ² 

When Joseph awoke from sleep he did what the angel of the Lord ¹  told him. He took his wife,

After Herod ¹  had died, an ²  angel of the Lord ³  appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt

Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of the sons of Zebedee.

So they hurried off and located Mary and Joseph, and found the baby lying in a manger. ¹ 

the son of Matthat, the son of Levi, the son of Melchi, the son of Jannai, the son of Joseph,

the son of Simeon, the son of Judah, the son of Joseph, the son of Jonam, the son of Eliakim,

Now ¹  there was a man named Joseph who was a member of the council, ²  a good and righteous man.

The ¹  patriarchs, because they were jealous of Joseph, sold ²  him into Egypt. But ³  God was with him,

Because Joseph, her husband to be, ¹  was a righteous man, and because he did not want to disgrace her, he intended to divorce her ²  privately.

Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother named Mary? ¹  And aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas?

Now ¹  when it was evening, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who was also a disciple of Jesus. ² 

to a virgin engaged ¹  to a man whose name was Joseph, a descendant of David, ²  and the virgin’s name was Mary.

Now ¹  when the time came for their ²  purification according to the law of Moses, Joseph and Mary ³  brought Jesus ⁴  up to Jerusalem ⁵  to present him to the Lord

So ¹  when Joseph and Mary ²  had performed ³  everything according to the law of the Lord, ⁴  they returned to Galilee, to their own town ⁵  of Nazareth. ⁶
