Why too are we in danger every hour?

And which of you by worrying can add even one hour to his life? ¹ 

Therefore stay alert, because you do not know the day or the hour. ¹ 

Now ¹  the whole crowd ²  of people were praying outside at the hour of the incense offering. ³ 

And which of you by worrying ¹  can add an hour to his life? ² 

“Now my soul is greatly distressed. And what should I say? ‘Father, deliver me ¹  from this hour’? ²  No, but for this very reason I have come to this hour. ³ 

Children, it is the last hour, and just as you heard that the antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists ¹  have appeared. We know from this that it is the last hour.

Now ¹  when the hour came, Jesus ²  took his place at the table ³  and the apostles joined ⁴  him.

And after about an hour still another insisted, ¹  “Certainly this man was with him, because he too is a Galilean.” ² 

To the present hour we are hungry and thirsty, poorly clothed, brutally treated, and without a roof over our heads.

Now ¹  when the Lamb ²  opened the seventh seal there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.

Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go; just as you believed, it will be done for you.” And the servant ¹  was healed at that hour.

But when Jesus turned and saw her he said, “Have courage, daughter! Your faith has made you well.” ¹  And the woman was healed ²  from that hour.

Then ¹  Jesus answered her, “Woman, ²  your faith is great! Let what you want be done for you.” And her daughter was healed from that hour.

saying, ‘These last fellows worked one hour, and you have made them equal to us who bore the hardship and burning heat of the day.’

“But as for that day and hour no one knows it – not even the angels in heaven ¹  – except the Father alone.

Therefore you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. ¹ 

then the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not foresee,

Then he came to the disciples and found them sleeping. He ¹  said to Peter, “So, couldn’t you stay awake with me for one hour?

“But as for that day or hour no one knows it – neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son ¹  – except the Father.
