The shrewd person ¹  conceals ²  knowledge, but foolish people ³  publicize folly. ⁴ 

Five ¹  of the virgins ²  were foolish, and five were wise.

For ¹  wrath kills the foolish person, ²  and anger ³  slays the silly one.

My wounds ¹  are infected and starting to smell, ²  because of my foolish sins. ³ 

O God, you are aware of my foolish sins; ¹  my guilt is not hidden from you. ² 

Remember how ¹  the enemy hurls insults, O Lord, ²  and how a foolish nation blasphemes your name!

Abandon your foolish ways ¹  so that you may live, ²  and proceed ³  in the way of understanding.”

Those who are wise ¹  store up ²  knowledge, but foolish speech ³  leads to imminent ⁴  destruction.

Leave the presence of a foolish person, ¹  or ²  you will not understand ³  wise counsel. ⁴ 

A wise child ¹  brings joy to his father, but a foolish person ²  despises ³  his mother.

A foolish scheme ¹  is sin, and the scorner is an abomination to people. ² 

At the beginning his words ¹  are foolish and at the end ²  his talk ³  is wicked madness, ⁴ 

Again the Lord said to me, “Take up once more the equipment of a foolish shepherd. ¹ 

Jesus ¹  said, “Even after all this, are you still so foolish?

When ¹  the foolish ones took their lamps, they did not take extra ²  olive oil ³  with them.

But reject foolish and ignorant ¹  controversies, because you know they breed infighting. ² 

For God wants you ¹  to silence the ignorance of foolish people by doing good.

Every wise woman ¹  builds ²  her household, ³  but a foolish woman tears it down with her own hands.

A person who has a quick temper ¹  does foolish things, and a person with crafty schemes ²  is hated. ³ 

A foolish child is a grief ¹  to his father, and bitterness to the mother who bore him. ²
