“Now, listen, Jacob my servant, Israel whom I have chosen!”

For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Certainly ¹  the Lord has chosen Zion; he decided to make it his home. ² 

Indeed, ¹  the Lord has chosen Jacob for himself, Israel to be his special possession. ² 

“You, my servant Israel, Jacob whom I have chosen, offspring of Abraham my friend, ¹ 

I have both seen and testified that this man is the Chosen One of God.” ¹
