And many believed in Jesus ¹  there.

They believed his promises; ¹  they sang praises to him.

and because of his word many more ¹  believed.

(For not even his own brothers believed in him.) ¹ 

All who believed were together and held ¹  everything in common,

Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are the people ¹  who have not seen and yet have believed.” ²

And blessed ¹  is she who believed that ²  what was spoken to her by ³  the Lord would be fulfilled.” ⁴ 

Then many of the people, ¹  who had come with Mary and had seen the things Jesus ²  did, believed in him.

For the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God. ¹ 

Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, came in, and he saw and believed. ¹
