And he says ¹  of the angels, “He makes ²  his angels spirits and his ministers a flame of fire,” ³ 

Then ¹  war broke out in heaven: Michael ²  and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.

So Jacob went on his way and the angels of God ¹  met him.

If ¹  God ²  puts no trust in ³  his servants ⁴  and attributes ⁵  folly ⁶  to his angels,

For he will order his angels ¹  to protect you in all you do. ² 

The Lord reigns! The nations tremble. ²  He sits enthroned above the winged angels; ³  the earth shakes. ⁴ 

Praise him, all his angels! ¹  Praise him, all his heavenly assembly! ² 

Then the devil left him, and angels ¹  came and began ministering to his needs.

for it is written, ‘He will command his angels concerning you, to protect you,’ ¹ 

But the one who denies me before men will be denied before God’s angels.

You ¹  received the law by decrees given by angels, ²  but you did not obey ³  it.” ⁴ 

Do you not know that we will judge angels? Why not ordinary matters!

Do not neglect hospitality, because through it some have entertained angels without knowing it. ¹ 

Now ¹  the seven angels holding ²  the seven trumpets prepared to blow them.

Praise the Lord, you angels of his, you powerful warriors who carry out his decrees and obey his orders! ¹ 

For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels ¹  in heaven.

“I ¹  tell you, whoever acknowledges ²  me before men, ³  the Son of Man will also acknowledge ⁴  before God’s angels.

For this reason a woman should have a symbol of authority ¹  on her head, because of the angels. ² 

Thus he became ¹  so far better than the angels as ²  he has inherited a name superior to theirs.

But when he again brings ¹  his firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all the angels of God worship him!” ²
