“You shall not give ¹  false testimony ²  against your neighbor.

You must not offer false testimony against another. ¹ 

“You shall not covet ¹  your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that belongs to your neighbor.” ² 

The one ¹  who flatters ²  his neighbor spreads a net ³  for his steps. ⁴ 

honor your father and mother, ¹  and love your neighbor as yourself.” ² 

But the expert, ¹  wanting to justify ²  himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”

You must not desire ¹  another man’s ²  wife, nor should you crave his ³  house, his field, his male and female servants, his ox, his donkey, or anything else he owns.” ⁴ 

Instruct ¹  the people that each man and each woman is to request ²  from his or her neighbor ³  items of silver and gold.” ⁴ 

Do not plot ¹  evil against your neighbor when ²  he dwells by you unsuspectingly.

The second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ ¹ 

If you do take ¹  the garment of your neighbor in pledge, you must return it to him by the time the sun goes down, ² 

‘Cursed is the one who moves his neighbor’s boundary marker.’ Then all the people will say, ‘Amen!’

They are like lusty, well-fed ¹  stallions. Each of them lusts after ²  his neighbor’s wife.

Which of these three do you think became a neighbor ¹  to the man who fell into the hands of the robbers?”

The one who denounces ¹  his neighbor lacks wisdom, ²  but the one who has discernment ³  keeps silent. ⁴ 

Do not be a witness against your neighbor without cause, ¹  and do not deceive with your words. ² 

When you argue a case ¹  with your neighbor, do not reveal the secret of another person, ² 

“I will provoke civil strife in Egypt, ¹  brothers will fight with each other, as will neighbors, cities, and kingdoms. ² 

When you go into the ripe grain fields of your neighbor you may pluck off the kernels with your hand, ¹  but you must not use a sickle on your neighbor’s ripe grain.

‘Cursed is the one who kills ¹  his neighbor in private.’ Then all the people will say, ‘Amen!’
