So David lived in the fortress and called it the City of David. David built all around it, from the terrace inwards.

Who has put wisdom in the heart, ¹  or has imparted understanding to the mind?

Certainly ¹  you made my mind and heart; ²  you wove me together ³  in my mother’s womb.

Look, ¹  you desire ²  integrity in the inner man; ³  you want me to possess wisdom. ⁴
