They supported ¹  the kingdom of Judah and were loyal to ²  Rehoboam son of Solomon for three years; they followed the edicts of ³  David and Solomon for three years.

you must set apart for yourselves three cities ¹  in the middle of your land that the Lord your God is giving you as a possession.

Jehoahaz was twenty-three years old when he became king, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem.

“Indeed, God does all these things, twice, three times, in his dealings ²  with a person,

Under three things the earth trembles, ¹  and under four things it cannot bear up:

He measured the width of the entrance of the gateway as 17½ feet, ¹  and the length of the gateway as 22¾ feet. ²

in the third ¹  year of his reign he provided a banquet for all his officials and his servants. The army ²  of Persia and Media ³  was present, ⁴  as well as the nobles and the officials of the provinces.

The leech ¹  has two daughters: ²  “Give! Give!” ³  There are three things that are never satisfied, four ⁴  that never say, “Enough” ⁵  –

In the third ¹  year of the reign of King Jehoiakim of Judah, King Nebuchadnezzar ²  of Babylon advanced against Jerusalem ³  and laid it under siege. ⁴
