Lay siege to it! Build siege works against it. Erect a siege ramp ¹  against it! Post soldiers outside it ²  and station battering rams around it.

But if there is serious injury, then you will give a life for a life,

And give the money for the redemption of the excess number of them to Aaron and his sons.”

You are to take it from their half-share and give it to Eleazar the priest for a raised offering to the Lord.

You are to put it under the ledge of the altar below, so that the network will come ¹  halfway up the altar. ² 

You are to attach the two gold chains to the two rings at the ends of the breastpiece;

You are to put the altar for the burnt offering in front of the entrance to the tabernacle, the tent of meeting.

You are to assign ¹  the Levites to Aaron and his sons; they will be assigned exclusively ²  to him out of all ³  the Israelites.

Then you must delegate ¹  some of your authority ²  to him, so that the whole community of the Israelites will be obedient. ³ 

You are to hang it ¹  with gold hooks ²  on four posts of acacia wood overlaid with gold, set in ³  four silver bases.

and two braided chains of pure gold, like a cord, and attach the chains to the settings.

the other ¹  two ends of the two chains you will attach to the two settings and then attach them ²  to the shoulder pieces of the ephod at the front of it.

You are to make two more ¹  gold rings and attach them to the bottom of the two shoulder pieces on the front of the ephod, close to the juncture above the waistband of the ephod.

and take some of the blood of the bull and put it on the horns of the altar ¹  with your finger; all the rest of ²  the blood you are to pour out at the base of the altar.

“You are to put it in front of the curtain that is before the ark of the testimony (before the atonement lid that is over the testimony), where I will meet you.

You are to beat some of it very fine and put some of it before the ark of the testimony in the tent of meeting where I will meet with you; it is to be most holy to you.

You are to put ¹  the gold altar for incense in front of the ark of the testimony and put the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle.

“Receive these gifts ¹  from them, that they may be ²  used in doing the work ³  of the tent of meeting; and you must give them to the Levites, to every man ⁴  as his service requires.” ⁵ 

you may convert the tithe into money, secure the money, ¹  and travel to the place the Lord your God chooses for himself.

you shall take an awl and pierce a hole through his ear to the door. ¹  Then he will become your servant permanently (this applies to your female servant as well).
