They will lend to you but you will not lend to them; they will become the head and you will become the tail!

You are holy; you sit as king receiving the praises of Israel. ¹ 

For you hate instruction and reject my words. ¹ 

But it is you, ¹  a man like me, ²  my close friend in whom I confided. ³ 

Many are appalled when they see me, ¹  but you are my secure shelter.

But you, O Lord, reign ¹  forever!

But you remain; ¹  your years do not come to an end.

“And you, sing ¹  a lament for the princes of Israel,

But as for you, if you warn the wicked and he does not turn from his wicked deed and from his wicked lifestyle, he will die for his iniquity but you will have saved your own life. ¹ 

However, if you warn the righteous person not to sin, and he ¹  does not sin, he will certainly live because he was warned, and you will have saved your own life.”

But if you warn the wicked man to change his behavior, ¹  and he refuses to change, ²  he will die for his iniquity, but you have saved your own life.

But as for you, ¹  you will go to your ancestors ²  in peace and be buried at a good old age. ³ 

But you, Lord, are a shield that protects me; ¹  you are my glory ²  and the one who restores me. ³ 

But you, O Lord, do not remain far away! You are my source of strength! ¹  Hurry and help me! ² 

As for you, O Lord, have mercy on me and raise me up, so I can pay them back!” ¹ 

But you, O Lord, laugh in disgust at them; ¹  you taunt ²  all the nations.

But you have spurned ¹  and rejected him; you are angry with your chosen king. ² 

But you, O Lord, rule forever, ¹  and your reputation endures. ² 

They curse, but you will bless. ¹  When they attack, they will be humiliated, ²  but your servant will rejoice.

“You, son of man, sing a lament for Tyre. ¹
