There we were, ¹  binding sheaves of grain in the middle of the field. Suddenly my sheaf rose up and stood upright and your sheaves surrounded my sheaf and bowed down ²  to it!”

Then I looked and realized a hand was stretched out to me, and in it was a written scroll.

When the time came for Rebekah to give birth, ¹  there were ²  twins in her womb.

But then one passes by, and suddenly they have disappeared! ¹  I looked for them, but they could not be found.

and had a dream. ¹  He saw ²  a stairway ³  erected on the earth with its top reaching to the heavens. The angels of God were going up and coming down it

When ¹  the cloud departed from above the tent, Miriam became ²  leprous ³  as snow. Then Aaron looked at ⁴  Miriam, and she was leprous!

They waited so long they were embarrassed, but he still did not open the doors of the upper room. Finally they took the key and opened the doors. ¹  Right before their eyes was their master, sprawled out dead on the floor! ²

Indeed ¹  Israel ²  is the vineyard of the Lord who commands armies, the people ³  of Judah are the cultivated place in which he took delight. He waited for justice, but look what he got – disobedience! ⁴  He waited for fairness, but look what he got – cries for help! ⁵ 

He made me walk all around among them. ¹  I realized ²  there were a great many bones in the valley and they were very dry.

The sovereign Lord showed me this: I saw ¹  him making locusts just as the crops planted late ²  were beginning to sprout. (The crops planted late sprout after the royal harvest. ³ )

Then ¹  seven heads of grain, thin and burned by the east wind, were sprouting up after them.

Just then, ¹  while she was still speaking to the king, Nathan the prophet arrived.

Suddenly ¹  a woman came out to meet him! She was dressed like a prostitute ²  and with secret intent. ³ 

I looked at the mountains and saw that they were shaking. All the hills were swaying back and forth!

I looked and saw that there were no more people, ¹  and that all the birds in the sky had flown away.

We hoped for good fortune, but nothing good has come of it. We hoped for a time of relief, but instead we experience terror. ¹ 

The sovereign Lord showed me this: I saw ¹  a basket of summer fruit. ²
