My child, if sinners ¹  try to entice ²  you, do not consent! ³ 

For my sighing comes in place of ¹  my food, ²  and my groanings ³  flow forth like water. ⁴ 

the blessing of the dying man descended on me, ¹  and I made the widow’s heart rejoice; ² 

You will not be afraid ¹  of sudden ²  disaster, ³  or when destruction overtakes ⁴  the wicked; ⁵ 

Do not enter the path of the wicked or walk ¹  in the way of those who are evil.

Do not move an ancient boundary stone, or take over ¹  the fields of the fatherless,

As for me, the Lord was also angry with me on your account. He said, “You also will not be able to go there.

When you enter the vineyard of your neighbor you may eat as many grapes as you please, ¹  but you must not take away any in a container. ² 

When you make any kind of loan to your neighbor, you may not go into his house to claim what he is offering as security. ¹ 

Micaiah replied, “Look, you will see in the day when you go into an inner room to hide.”

Indeed, ¹  let that night be barren; ²  let no shout of joy ³  penetrate ⁴  it!

Like a fluttering bird or like a flying swallow, so a curse without cause ¹  does not come to rest. ² 

O my soul, do not come into their council, do not be united to their assembly, my heart, ¹  for in their anger they have killed men, and for pleasure they have hamstrung oxen.

“I will send my terror ¹  before you, and I will destroy ²  all the people whom you encounter; I will make all your enemies turn their backs ³  to you.

When you go into the ripe grain fields of your neighbor you may pluck off the kernels with your hand, ¹  but you must not use a sickle on your neighbor’s ripe grain.

The Lord said to Satan, “Where have you come from?” ¹  And Satan answered the Lord, ²  “From roving about ³  on the earth, and from walking back and forth across it.” ⁴ 

And the Lord said to Satan, “Where do you come from?” Satan answered the Lord, ¹  “From roving about on the earth, and from walking back and forth across it.” ² 

Israel was set apart to the Lord; they were like the first fruits of a harvest to him. ¹  All who tried to devour them were punished; disaster came upon them,” says the Lord.’”

ת (Tav) Let all their wickedness come before you; afflict ¹  them just as you have afflicted ²  me ³  because of all my acts of rebellion. ⁴  For my groans are many, and my heart is sick with sorrow. ⁵ 

Then she will remain ¹  thirty-three days in blood purity. ²  She must not touch anything holy and she must not enter the sanctuary until the days of her purification are fulfilled. ³
