God brought them ¹  out of Egypt. They have, as it were, the strength of a wild bull. ² 

Solomon acquired horses from Egypt and from all the lands.

This is why Joshua had to circumcise them: All the men old enough to fight when they left Egypt died on the journey through the desert after they left Egypt. ¹ 

So ten of Joseph’s brothers went down to buy grain from Egypt.

So they went up from Egypt and came to their father Jacob in the land of Canaan. ¹ 

You uprooted a vine ¹  from Egypt; you drove out nations and transplanted it.

When Israel left Egypt, when the family of Jacob left a foreign nation behind, ² 

So Abram went up from Egypt into the Negev. ¹  He took his wife and all his possessions with him, as well as Lot. ² 

but when I rest ¹  with my fathers, carry me out of Egypt and bury me in their burial place.” Joseph ²  said, “I will do as you say.”

So now go, and I will send you ¹  to Pharaoh to bring my people, the Israelites, out of Egypt.”

Now the Israelites had done ¹  as Moses told them – they had requested from the Egyptians ²  silver and gold items and clothing.

You are to tell your son ¹  on that day, ²  ‘It is ³  because of what ⁴  the Lord did for me when I came out of Egypt.’

These are the stipulations, statutes, and ordinances that Moses spoke to the Israelites after he had brought them out of Egypt,

you must say to them, ¹  “We were Pharaoh’s slaves in Egypt, but the Lord brought us out of Egypt in a powerful way. ² 

Remember what the Lord your God did to Miriam ¹  along the way after you left Egypt.

Remember what the Amalekites ¹  did to you on your way from Egypt,

Therefore the Lord brought us out of Egypt with tremendous strength and power, ¹  as well as with great awe-inspiring signs and wonders.

When they left ¹  Egypt, Israel traveled ²  through the desert as far as the Red Sea and then came to Kadesh.

After all, ¹  they are your people and your special possession ²  whom you brought out of Egypt, from the middle of the iron-smelting furnace. ³ 

Solomon acquired his horses from Egypt ¹  and from Que; the king’s traders purchased them from Que.
