If a man has sexual intercourse ¹  with any animal, he must be put to death, and you must kill the animal.

He made storerooms for the harvest of grain, wine, and olive oil, and stalls for all his various kinds of livestock and his flocks. ¹ 

One who beats an animal to death ¹  must make restitution for it, but ²  one who beats a person to death must be put to death.

But all the livestock and plunder from the cities we kept for ourselves.

I will provide pasture ¹  for your livestock and you will eat your fill.”

Why should we be regarded as beasts, and considered stupid ¹  in your sight?

who teaches us ¹  more than ²  the wild animals of the earth, and makes us wiser than the birds of the sky?’

He blessed ¹  them so that they became very numerous. He would not allow their cattle to decrease in number. ² 

He struck down the firstborn of Egypt, including both men and animals.

you animals and all you cattle, you creeping things and birds,

You must take with you seven ¹  of every kind of clean animal, ²  the male and its mate, ³  two of every kind of unclean animal, the male and its mate,

Pairs ¹  of clean animals, of unclean animals, of birds, and of everything that creeps along the ground,

You must not have sexual intercourse ¹  with any animal to become defiled with it, and a woman must not stand before an animal to have sexual intercourse with it; ²  it is a perversion. ³ 

If a woman approaches any animal to have sexual intercourse with it, ¹  you must kill the woman, and the animal must be put to death; their blood guilt is on themselves.

If what is vowed is an unclean animal from which an offering must not be presented to the Lord, then he must stand the animal before the priest,

“Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn males among the Israelites, and the livestock of the Levites instead of their livestock. And the Levites will be mine. I am the Lord.

You may eat any animal that has hooves divided into two parts and that chews the cud. ¹ 

They will all be left ¹  for the birds of the hills and the wild animals; ²  the birds will eat them during the summer, and all the wild animals will eat them during the winter.

I will destroy all its cattle beside the plentiful waters; and no human foot will disturb ¹  the waters ²  again, nor will the hooves of cattle disturb them.

“Whoever has sexual relations ¹  with a beast must surely be put to death.
