blue, ¹  purple, ²  scarlet, ³  fine linen, ⁴  goat’s hair, ⁵

how much less a mortal man, who is but a maggot ¹  – a son of man, who is only a worm!”

So God sent ¹  a worm at dawn the next day, and it attacked the little plant so that it dried up.

But they did not listen to Moses; some ¹  kept part of it until morning, and it was full ²  of worms and began to stink, and Moses was angry with them.
