There was no king in Edom at this time; a governor ruled.

ל (Lamed) O Lord, your instructions endure; they stand secure in heaven. ¹ 

The Lord takes his position to judge; he stands up to pass sentence on his people. ¹ 

He drew ¹  his bow and made me ²  the target for his arrow.

Then Abraham set seven ewe lambs apart from the flock by themselves.

There he set up an altar and called it “The God of Israel is God.” ¹ 

The Lord said, “Here ¹  is a place by me; you will station yourself ²  on a rock.

As for me, you uphold ¹  me because of my integrity; ²  you allow ³  me permanent access to your presence. ⁴ 

He divided the sea and led them across it; he made the water stand in a heap.

At the top ¹  of the elevated places along the way, at the intersection ²  of the paths she takes her stand;

The Lord tears down the house of the proud, ¹  but he maintains the boundaries of the widow. ² 

Abimelech asked Abraham, “What is the meaning of these ¹  seven ewe lambs that you have set apart?”

Here I am, standing by the spring, ¹  and the daughters of the people ²  who live in the town are coming out to draw water.

So he returned to him, and he was still ¹  standing by his burnt offering, he and all the princes of Moab.

When the Most High ¹  gave the nations their inheritance, when he divided up humankind, ²  he set the boundaries of the peoples, according to the number of the heavenly assembly. ³ 

Meanwhile the six hundred Danites, fully armed, stood at the entrance to the gate. ¹ 

Boaz asked ¹  his servant ²  in charge of the harvesters, “To whom does this young woman belong?” ³
