Instead, pursue ¹  his ²  kingdom, ³  and these things will be given to you as well.

Then Jesus ¹  asked them again, “Who are you looking for?” And they said, “Jesus the Nazarene.”

But above all pursue his kingdom ¹  and righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

“Ask ¹  and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door ²  will be opened for you.

So ¹  do not be overly concerned about ²  what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not worry about such things. ³ 

Then Jesus, because he knew everything that was going to happen to him, ¹  came and asked them, “Who are you looking for?” ² 

Jesus replied, ¹  “I told you that I am he. If you are looking for ²  me, let these men ³  go.” ⁴ 

It is the same with you. Since you are eager for manifestations of the Spirit, ¹  seek to abound in order to strengthen the church.

But the angel said ¹  to the women, “Do not be afraid; I know ²  that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. ³ 

“So ¹  I tell you: Ask, ²  and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door ³  will be opened for you.

The ¹  women ²  were terribly frightened ³  and bowed ⁴  their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living ⁵  among the dead?

How can you believe, if you accept praise ¹  from one another and don’t seek the praise ²  that comes from the only God? ³ 

Hasn’t Moses given you the law? Yet not one of you keeps ¹  the law! Why do you want ²  to kill me?”

I know that you are Abraham’s descendants. ¹  But you want ²  to kill me, because my teaching ³  makes no progress among you. ⁴ 

But now you are trying ¹  to kill me, a man who has told you ²  the truth I heard from God. Abraham did not do this! ³ 

So Peter went down ¹  to the men and said, “Here I am, ²  the person you’re looking for. Why have you come?”

since you are demanding proof that Christ is speaking through me. He ¹  is not weak toward you but is powerful among you.

Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. ¹  He has been raised! ²  He is not here. Look, there is the place where they laid him.

Jesus turned around and saw them following and said to them, “What do you want?” ¹  So they said to him, “Rabbi” (which is translated Teacher), ²  “where are you staying?”
