From that time ¹  on, Judas ²  began looking for an opportunity to betray him.

At that time they had in custody a notorious prisoner named Jesus ¹  Barabbas.

For now we see in a mirror indirectly, ¹  but then we will see face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known.

Then what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled:

Then he touched their eyes saying, “Let it be done for you according to your faith.”

Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.

When ¹  the plants sprouted and bore grain, then the weeds also appeared.

Then Pharisees ¹  and experts in the law ²  came from Jerusalem ³  to Jesus and said, ⁴ 

Then he instructed his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Christ. ¹ 

Then the disciples understood that he was speaking to them about John the Baptist.

Then the Pharisees ¹  went out and planned together to entrap him with his own words. ² 

Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples,

Then many will be led into sin, ¹  and they will betray one another and hate one another.

then those in Judea must flee ¹  to the mountains.

Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ ¹  or ‘There he is!’ do not believe him.

Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one left. ¹ 

Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps.

Then one of the twelve, the one named Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests

Then they spat in his face and struck him with their fists. And some slapped him,

Then Pilate said to him, “Don’t you hear how many charges they are bringing against you?”
