Simon and his companions searched for him.

Whoever is not with me is against me, ¹  and whoever does not gather with me scatters. ²

When King Herod ¹  heard this he was alarmed, and all Jerusalem with him.

And if anyone forces you to go one mile, ¹  go with him two.

Then Moses ¹  and Elijah ²  also appeared before them, talking with him.

Jesus ¹  went with him, and a large crowd followed and pressed around him.

She went out and told those who were with him, while they were mourning and weeping.

“But look, the hand of the one who betrays ¹  me is with me on the table. ² 

“You are the ones who have remained ¹  with me in my trials.

And Jesus ¹  said to him, “I tell you the truth, ²  today ³  you will be with me in paradise.” ⁴ 

Jesus replied, ¹  “Do not complain about me to one another. ² 

and you also will testify, because you have been with me from the beginning.

There they ¹  crucified ²  him along with two others, ³  one on each side, with Jesus in the middle.

After ¹  they had spent some time there, ²  they were sent off in peace by the brothers to those who had sent them. ³ 

“While doing this very thing, ¹  as I was going ²  to Damascus with authority and complete power ³  from the chief priests,

Not long after this, a hurricane-force ¹  wind called the northeaster ²  blew down from the island. ³ 

Obey ¹  with enthusiasm, as though serving the Lord ²  and not people,

Jesus ¹  said to them, “The wedding guests ²  cannot fast while the bridegroom ³  is with them, can they? ⁴  As long as they have the bridegroom with them they do not fast.

Listen! ¹  I am standing at the door and knocking! If anyone hears my voice and opens the door I will come into his home ²  and share a meal with him, and he with me.
