When the disciples went to the other side, they forgot to take bread.

So the lame man ¹  paid attention to them, expecting to receive something from them.

And if someone wants to sue you and to take your tunic, ¹  give him your coat also.

Now ¹  they had forgotten to take bread, except for one loaf they had with them in the boat.

Therefore he said, “A nobleman ¹  went to a distant country to receive ²  for himself a kingdom and then return. ³ 

When he saw Peter and John about to go into the temple courts, ¹  he asked them for money. ² 

Simeon ¹  has explained ²  how God first concerned himself ³  to select ⁴  from among the Gentiles ⁵  a people for his name.

For if we deliberately keep on sinning after receiving the knowledge of the truth, no further sacrifice for sins is left for us, ¹ 

“It is not right ¹  to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs,” ²  he said. ³ 

When the harvest time was near, he sent his slaves ¹  to the tenants to collect his portion of the crop. ² 

He said to her, “Let the children be satisfied first, for it is not right to take the children’s bread and to throw it to the dogs.” ¹ 

And if you lend to those from whom you hope to be repaid, ¹  what credit is that to you? Even sinners ²  lend to sinners, so that they may be repaid in full. ³ 

Then they wanted to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat came to the land where they had been heading.

to assume the task ¹  of this service ²  and apostleship from which Judas turned aside ³  to go to his own place.” ⁴ 

About him all the prophets testify, ¹  that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins ²  through his name.”

No one takes it away from me, but I lay it down ¹  of my own free will. ²  I have the authority ³  to lay it down, and I have the authority ⁴  to take it back again. This commandment ⁵  I received from my Father.”

the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot accept, ¹  because it does not see him or know him. But you know him, because he resides ²  with you and will be ³  in you.

to open their eyes so that they turn ¹  from darkness to light and from the power ²  of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a share ³  among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’

“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, since you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created!” ¹ 

all of whom ¹  were singing ²  in a loud voice: “Worthy is the lamb who was killed ³  to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and praise!”
