just as it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one,

just as the testimony about Christ has been confirmed among you –

Be imitators of me, just as I also am of Christ.

So ¹  the disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them.

So ¹  with many parables like these, he spoke the word to them, as they were able to hear.

They replied as Jesus had told them, and the bystanders ¹  let them go.

Then the crowd came up and began to ask Pilate to release a prisoner for them, as was his custom. ¹ 

like the accounts ¹  passed on ²  to us by those who were eyewitnesses and servants of the word ³  from the beginning. ⁴ 

as he spoke through the mouth of his holy prophets from long ago, ¹ 

Treat others ¹  in the same way that you would want them to treat you. ² 

Be merciful, ¹  just as your Father is merciful.

So those who were sent ahead found ¹  it exactly ²  as he had told them.

So ¹  they went and found things ²  just as he had told them, ³  and they prepared the Passover.

Thus ¹  I grant ²  to you a kingdom, ³  just as my Father granted to me,

Jesus found a young donkey ¹  and sat on it, just as it is written,

For I have given you an example ¹  – you should do just as I have done for you.

They do not belong to the world ¹  just as I do not belong to the world. ² 

Just as you sent me into the world, so I sent them into the world. ¹ 

Yet the Most High ¹  does not live in houses made by human hands, ²  as the prophet says,

The ¹  words of the prophets agree ²  with this, as it is written,
