But ¹  they said to him, ‘Sir, he has ten minas already!’ ² 

Then ¹  some of the experts in the law ²  said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming!” ³ 

Then ¹  the disciples came to him and said, “Why do you speak to them in parables?”

What is your verdict?” ¹  They ²  answered, “He is guilty and deserves ³  death.”

He asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” They replied, “Seven.”

They said, “Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of dismissal and to divorce her.” ¹ 

They replied as Jesus had told them, and the bystanders ¹  let them go.

Tax collectors ¹  also came to be baptized, and they said to him, “Teacher, what should we do?”

The ¹  apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” ² 

Those who heard this said, “Then ¹  who can be saved?” ² 

They replied, “The Lord needs it.”

Then ¹  some of the experts in the law ²  answered, “Teacher, you have spoken well!” ³ 

They ¹  said to him, “Where do you want us to prepare ²  it?”

They said ¹  to him, “Where is that man?” ²  He replied, ³  “I don’t know.”

For this reason his parents said, “He is a mature adult, ¹  ask him.”) ² 

Then the disciples replied, ¹  “Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will recover.”

Then Jesus ¹  asked them again, “Who are you looking for?” And they said, “Jesus the Nazarene.”

So Paul ¹  said, “Into what then were you baptized?” “Into John’s baptism,” they replied. ² 

Those standing near him ¹  said, “Do you dare insult ²  God’s high priest?”
