But he passed through the crowd ¹  and went on his way. ² 

And there are different ministries, but the same Lord.

Now ¹  a man named Zacchaeus was there; he was a chief tax collector ²  and was rich.

And if you are willing to accept it, he is Elijah, who is to come.

Then he instructed his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Christ. ¹ 

I baptize you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”

He will show you a large room upstairs, furnished and ready. Make preparations for us there.”

He ¹  began to teach ²  in their synagogues ³  and was praised ⁴  by all.

Yet Jesus himself ¹  frequently withdrew ²  to the wilderness ³  and prayed.

because he loves our nation, ¹  and even ²  built our synagogue.” ³ 

But Jesus ¹  gently took her by the hand and said, ²  “Child, get up.”

So ¹  Herod ²  questioned him at considerable length; Jesus ³  gave him no answer.

So they approached the village where they were going. He acted as though he wanted to go farther, ¹ 

But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, because he knew all people. ¹ 

(although Jesus himself was not baptizing, but his disciples were), ¹ 

(Now Jesus ¹  said this to test him, for he knew what he was going to do.) ² 

So Jacob went down to Egypt and died there, ¹  along with our ancestors, ² 

The one who is spiritual discerns ¹  all things, yet he himself is understood ²  by no one.

And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself ¹  as an angel of light.
