Treat others ¹  in the same way that you would want them to treat you. ² 

But evil people and charlatans will go from bad to worse, ¹  deceiving others and being deceived themselves. ² 

and in one case tithes are received by mortal men, while in the other by him who is affirmed to be alive.

Woe to you! ¹  You are like unmarked graves, and people ²  walk over them without realizing it!” ³ 

“Two men went up ¹  to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee ²  and the other a tax collector. ³ 

For whenever someone says, “I am with Paul,” or “I am with Apollos,” are you not merely human? ¹ 

For people ¹  will be lovers of themselves, ²  lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,

For people ¹  swear by something greater than themselves, ²  and the oath serves as a confirmation to end all dispute. ³ 

for no prophecy was ever borne of human impulse; rather, men ¹  carried along by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

In ¹  everything, treat others as you would want them ²  to treat you, ³  for this fulfills ⁴  the law and the prophets.

And the men ¹  were amazed and said, ²  “What sort of person is this? Even the winds and the sea obey him!” ³ 

I ¹  tell you that on the day of judgment, people will give an account for every worthless word they speak.

“Woe to you ¹  when all people ²  speak well of you, for their ancestors ³  did the same things to the false prophets.

Now when the people saw the miraculous sign that Jesus ¹  performed, they began to say to one another, “This is certainly the Prophet ²  who is to come into the world.” ³ 

When ¹  they had brought them ²  before the magistrates, they said, “These men are throwing our city into confusion. ³  They are ⁴  Jews

And just as Jannes and Jambres ¹  opposed Moses, so these people – who have warped minds and are disqualified in the faith ²  – also oppose the truth.

When ¹  Jesus came to the area of Caesarea Philippi, ²  he asked his disciples, ³  “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?”

Then Jesus and his disciples went to the villages of Caesarea Philippi. ¹  On the way he asked his disciples, ²  “Who do people say that I am?”

“Blessed are you when people ¹  hate you, and when they exclude you and insult you and reject you as evil ²  on account of the Son of Man!

Now this is the basis for judging: ¹  that the light has come into the world and people ²  loved the darkness rather than the light, because their deeds were evil.
