He wrote ¹  a letter that went like this: ² 

So ¹  he sent still a third. They even wounded this one, and threw him out.

But they all shouted out together, ¹  “Take this man ²  away! Release Barabbas for us!”

So they said to him, “Sir, ¹  give us this bread all the time!”

When Pilate heard what they said, ¹  he was more afraid than ever, ² 

So when Peter saw him, ¹  he asked Jesus, “Lord, what about him?”

This Jesus God raised up, and we are all witnesses of it. ¹ 

So I hope to send him as soon as I know more about my situation,

This same ¹  Moses they had rejected, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and judge?’ ²  God sent as both ruler and deliverer ³  through the hand of the angel ⁴  who appeared to him in the bush.

But when the young man heard this he went away sorrowful, for he was very rich. ¹ 

The one who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, and the one on whom it falls will be crushed.” ¹ 

As ¹  they were going out, they found a man from Cyrene named Simon, whom they forced ²  to carry his cross. ³ 

Then ¹  he said to her, “Because you said this, you may go. The demon has left your daughter.”

Then he began to curse, and he swore with an oath, “I do not know this man you are talking about!”

Jesus replied, ¹  “Destroy ²  this temple and in three days I will raise it up again.”

But we know where this man ¹  comes from. ²  Whenever the Christ ³  comes, no one will know where he comes from.” ⁴ 

We know that God has spoken to Moses! We do not know where this man ¹  comes from!”

Then they shouted back, ¹  “Not this man, ²  but Barabbas!” ³  (Now Barabbas was a revolutionary. ⁴ ) ⁵ 

this man, who was handed over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you executed ¹  by nailing him to a cross at the hands of Gentiles. ² 

but ¹  God raised him up on the third day and caused him to be seen, ²
