And he said to him, “I will give you all these things if you throw yourself to the ground and worship ¹  me.”

When the disciples heard this, they were overwhelmed with fear and threw themselves down with their faces to the ground. ¹ 

So ¹  he said to them, “I saw ²  Satan fall ³  like lightning ⁴  from heaven.

So let the one who thinks he is standing be careful that he does not fall.

By faith the walls of Jericho ¹  fell after the people marched around them ²  for seven days.

And the four living creatures were saying “Amen,” and the elders threw themselves to the ground ¹  and worshiped.

Then ¹  the third angel blew his trumpet, and a huge star burning like a torch fell from the sky; ²  it landed ³  on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water.

A ¹  second ²  angel ³  followed the first, ⁴  declaring: ⁵  “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great city! ⁶  She made all the nations ⁷  drink of the wine of her immoral passion.” ⁸ 

He ¹  shouted with a powerful voice: “Fallen, fallen, is Babylon the great! She ²  has become a lair for demons, a haunt ³  for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detested beast. ⁴ 

Other seeds fell among the thorns, ¹  and they grew up and choked them. ² 

Leave them! They are blind guides. ¹  If someone who is blind leads another who is blind, ²  both will fall into a pit.”

Then the slave threw himself to the ground ¹  before him, saying, ²  ‘Be patient with me, and I will repay you everything.’

Then his fellow slave threw himself down and begged him, ¹  ‘Be patient with me, and I will repay you.’

Then ¹  one of the synagogue rulers, ²  named Jairus, ³  came up, and when he saw Jesus, ⁴  he fell at his feet.

the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. ¹

But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tiny stroke of a letter ¹  in the law to become void. ²
