If anyone has ears to hear, he had better listen!” ¹ 

If anyone has an ear, he had better listen!

“But your eyes are blessed ¹  because they see, and your ears because they hear.

And he said, “Whoever has ears to hear had better listen!” ¹ 

The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’

Though you have eyes, don’t you see? And though you have ears, can’t you hear? ¹  Don’t you remember?

Then ¹  he began to tell them, “Today ²  this scripture has been fulfilled even as you heard it being read.” ³ 

It is of no value ¹  for the soil or for the manure pile; it is to be thrown out. ²  The one who has ears to hear had better listen!” ³ 

But they covered their ears, ¹  shouting out with a loud voice, and rushed at him with one intent.

For the eyes of the Lord are ¹  upon the righteous and his ears are open to their prayer. But the Lord’s face is against those who do evil. ² 

What I say to you in the dark, tell in the light, and what is whispered in your ear, ¹  proclaim from the housetops. ² 

Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. ¹  The one who has ears had better listen! ² 

After Jesus ¹  took him aside privately, away from the crowd, he put his fingers in the man’s ²  ears, and after spitting, he touched his tongue. ³ 

For the instant ¹  the sound of your greeting reached my ears, ²  the baby in my womb leaped for joy. ³ 

“Take these words to heart, ¹  for the Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men.” ²
