So they approached the village where they were going. He acted as though he wanted to go farther, ¹ 

(Now there were many lamps ¹  in the upstairs room where we were meeting.) ² 

For the law brings wrath, because where there is no law there is no transgression ¹  either.

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is present, ¹  there is freedom.

For where two or three are assembled in my name, I am there among them.”

So ¹  the eleven disciples went to Galilee to the mountain Jesus had designated.

There ¹  we found ²  some brothers ³  and were invited to stay with them seven days. And in this way we came to Rome. ⁴ 

Now the law came in ¹  so that the transgression ²  may increase, but where sin increased, grace multiplied all the more,

and perhaps I will stay with you, or even spend the winter, so that you can send me on my journey, wherever I go.

But our citizenship is in heaven – and we also await a savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,

“There your fathers tested me and tried me, ¹  and they saw my works for forty years.

and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him. He ¹  unrolled ²  the scroll and found the place where it was written,

Then ¹  he took it down, wrapped it in a linen cloth, ²  and placed it ³  in a tomb cut out of the rock, ⁴  where no one had yet been buried. ⁵ 

Suddenly ¹  a sound ²  like a violent wind blowing ³  came from heaven ⁴  and filled the entire house where they were sitting.

When the man said this, ¹  Moses fled and became a foreigner ²  in the land of Midian, where he became the father of two sons.

When Peter ¹  realized this, he went to the house of Mary, the mother of John Mark, ²  where many people had gathered together and were praying.

On the Sabbath day we went outside the city gate to the side of the river, where we thought there would be a place of prayer, and we sat down ¹  and began to speak ²  to the women ³  who had assembled there. ⁴ 

We ¹  sailed away from Philippi ²  after the days of Unleavened Bread, ³  and within five days ⁴  we came to the others ⁵  in Troas, ⁶  where we stayed for seven days.

“And in the very place ¹  where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ there they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’” ² 

Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
