When King Herod ¹  heard this he was alarmed, and all Jerusalem with him.

Then Pharisees ¹  and experts in the law ²  came from Jerusalem ³  to Jesus and said, ⁴ 

Now ¹  the Pharisees ²  and some of the experts in the law ³  who came from Jerusalem ⁴  gathered around him.

Then ¹  Jesus ²  traveled throughout ³  towns ⁴  and villages, teaching and making his way toward ⁵  Jerusalem. ⁶ 

After Jesus ¹  had said this, he continued on ahead, ²  going up to Jerusalem. ³ 

Now the Jewish feast of Passover ¹  was near, so Jesus went up to Jerusalem. ² 

After this ¹  there was a Jewish feast, ²  and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. ³ 

Then came the feast of the Dedication ¹  in Jerusalem. ² 

(Now Bethany was less than two miles ¹  from Jerusalem, ² 

At that time ¹  some ²  prophets ³  came down ⁴  from Jerusalem ⁵  to Antioch. ⁶ 

After these days we got ready ¹  and started up ²  to Jerusalem.

When we arrived in Jerusalem, the brothers welcomed us gladly. ¹ 

Now ¹  three days after Festus ²  arrived in the province, he went up to Jerusalem ³  from Caesarea. ⁴ 

Then after fourteen years I went up to Jerusalem ¹  again with Barnabas, taking Titus along too.

Then people from Jerusalem, ¹  as well as all Judea and all the region around the Jordan, were going out to him,

And large crowds followed him from Galilee, the Decapolis, ¹  Jerusalem, ²  Judea, and beyond the Jordan River. ³ 

As he entered Jerusalem the whole city was thrown into an uproar, ¹  saying, “Who is this?”

Now there is ¹  in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate ²  a pool called Bethzatha ³  in Aramaic, ⁴  which has five covered walkways. ⁵ 

The next day the large crowd that had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem. ¹ 

nor did I go up to Jerusalem ¹  to see those who were apostles before me, but right away I departed to Arabia, ²  and then returned to Damascus.
