(He had four unmarried ¹  daughters who prophesied.) ² 

By faith, when he grew up, Moses refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter,

They will be divided, ¹  father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.”

Then ¹  he said to her, “Because you said this, you may go. The demon has left your daughter.”

Then ¹  he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. ²  Go in peace.”

“Do not be afraid, people of Zion; ¹  look, your king is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt!” ² 

and when he had been abandoned, ¹  Pharaoh’s daughter adopted ²  him and brought him up ³  as her own son.

and I will be a father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters,” ¹  says the All-Powerful Lord. ² 

For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law,

But on Herod’s birthday, the daughter of Herodias danced before them and pleased Herod,

“Tell the people of Zion, ¹  ‘Look, your king is coming to you, unassuming and seated on a donkey, and on a colt, the foal of a donkey.’” ² 

He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. ¹  Go in peace, and be healed of your disease.”

While he was still speaking, people came from the synagogue ruler’s ¹  house saying, “Your daughter has died. Why trouble the teacher any longer?”

The woman was a Greek, of Syrophoenician origin. She ¹  asked him to cast the demon out of her daughter.

There was also a prophetess, Anna the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was very old, ¹  having been married to her husband for seven years until his death.

because he had an only daughter, about twelve years old, and she was dying. ¹  As Jesus was on his way, the crowds pressed ²  around him.

While he was still speaking, someone from the synagogue ruler’s ¹  house came and said, “Your daughter is dead; do not trouble the teacher any longer.”

But Jesus turned to them and said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, ¹  do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves ²  and for your children.

As he was saying these things, a ruler came, bowed low before him, and said, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her and she will live.”

But when Jesus turned and saw her he said, “Have courage, daughter! Your faith has made you well.” ¹  And the woman was healed ²  from that hour.
