The last enemy to be eliminated is death.

and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household. ¹ 

that we, being rescued from the hand of our ¹  enemies, may serve him without fear, ² 

So then, have I become your enemy by telling you the truth? ¹ 

that we should be saved ¹  from our enemies, ²  and from the hand of all who hate us.

until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”’ ¹ 

until I make your enemies a footstool ¹  for your feet.”’ ² 

In regard to the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but in regard to election they are dearly loved for the sake of the fathers.

Yet do not regard him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother. ¹ 

where he is now waiting ¹  until his enemies are made a footstool for his feet. ² 

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor’ ¹  and ‘hate your enemy.’

But I say to you, love your enemy and ¹  pray for those who persecute you,

“But I say to you who are listening: Love your enemies, ¹  do good to those who hate you,

For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.

And you were at one time strangers and enemies in your ¹  minds ²  as expressed through ³  your evil deeds,

But while everyone was sleeping, an enemy came and sowed weeds ¹  among the wheat and went away.

He said, ‘An enemy has done this.’ So ¹  the slaves replied, ‘Do you want us to go and gather them?’

and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels.

‘The Lord said to my lord, ¹  “Sit at my right hand, until I put your enemies under your feet”’? ² 

But as for these enemies of mine who did not want me to be their king, ¹  bring them here and slaughter ²  them ³  in front of me!’”
