Command and teach these things.

Jesus ¹  said these things while he was teaching in the synagogue ²  in Capernaum. ³ 

therefore ¹  you who teach someone else, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal?

Then ¹  he began to teach ²  them by saying:

because he taught them like one who had authority, ¹  not like their experts in the law. ² 

and they worship me in vain, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’” ¹ 

Then ¹  they went to Capernaum. ²  When the Sabbath came, ³  Jesus ⁴  went into the synagogue ⁵  and began to teach.

He taught them many things in parables, ¹  and in his teaching said to them:

And he was amazed because of their unbelief. Then ¹  he went around among the villages and taught.

They worship me in vain, teaching as doctrine the commandments of men.’ ¹ 

He ¹  began to teach ²  in their synagogues ³  and was praised ⁴  by all.

Now he was teaching in one of the synagogues ¹  on the Sabbath,

Then ¹  Jesus ²  traveled throughout ³  towns ⁴  and villages, teaching and making his way toward ⁵  Jerusalem. ⁶ 

When the feast was half over, Jesus went up to the temple courts ¹  and began to teach. ² 

So he stayed there ¹  a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them. ² 

If it is service, he must serve; if it is teaching, he must teach;

For I did not receive it or learn it from any human source; ¹  instead I received it ²  by a revelation of Jesus Christ. ³ 

But I do not allow ¹  a woman to teach or exercise authority ²  over a man. She must remain quiet. ³ 

Now ¹  Jesus ²  was praying in a certain place. When ³  he stopped, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John ⁴  taught ⁵  his disciples.”

Thus ¹  they asked him, “Teacher, we know that you speak and teach correctly, ²  and show no partiality, but teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. ³
