But the Pharisees ¹  said, “By the ruler ²  of demons he casts out demons.” ³ 

But some of them said, “By the power of Beelzebul, ¹  the ruler ²  of demons, he casts out demons.”

But when the Pharisees ¹  heard this they said, “He does not cast out demons except by the power of Beelzebul, ²  the ruler ³  of demons!”

The experts in the law ¹  who came down from Jerusalem ²  said, “He is possessed by Beelzebul,” ³  and, “By the ruler ⁴  of demons he casts out demons.”

Now ¹  he was casting out a demon that was mute. ²  When ³  the demon had gone out, the man who had been mute began to speak, ⁴  and the crowds were amazed.

No, I mean that what the pagans sacrifice ¹  is to demons and not to God. I do not want you to be partners with demons.

You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot take part in the table of the Lord and the table of demons.

For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon!’ ¹ 

and to have authority to cast out demons.

They cast out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them.

The crowd ¹  answered, “You’re possessed by a demon! ²  Who is trying to kill you?” ³ 

So ¹  he healed many who were sick with various diseases and drove out many demons. ²  But ³  he would not permit the demons to speak, ⁴  because they knew him. ⁵ 

Heal the sick, raise the dead, ¹  cleanse lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.

But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God ¹  has already overtaken ²  you.

So ¹  he went into all of Galilee preaching in their synagogues ²  and casting out demons.

Then ¹  he said to her, “Because you said this, you may go. The demon has left your daughter.”

These signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages; ¹ 

Now ¹  in the synagogue ²  there was a man who had the spirit of an unclean ³  demon, and he cried out with a loud voice,

For John the Baptist has come ¹  eating no bread and drinking no wine, ²  and you say, ‘He has a demon!’ ³
