Should your springs be dispersed ¹  outside, your streams of water in the wide plazas?

I scattered them among the nations; they were dispersed throughout foreign countries. In accordance with their behavior and their deeds I judged them.

From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia, ¹  those who pray to me ²  will bring me tribute.

In what direction is lightning ¹  dispersed, or the east winds scattered over the earth?

Then the Jewish leaders ¹  said to one another, “Where is he ²  going to go that we cannot find him? ³  He is not going to go to the Jewish people dispersed ⁴  among the Greeks and teach the Greeks, is he? ⁵ 

After him Judas the Galilean arose in the days of the census, ¹  and incited people to follow him in revolt. ²  He too was killed, and all who followed him were scattered.

These were the sons of Noah, and from them the whole earth was populated. ¹ 

All of Adonijah’s guests panicked; ¹  they jumped up and rushed off their separate ways.
