but they urged him, ¹  “Stay with us, because it is getting toward evening and the day is almost done.” So ²  he went in to stay with them.

Whatever ¹  house you enter, stay there ²  until you leave the area. ³ 

When they asked him to stay longer, he would not consent, ¹ 

So when the Samaritans came to him, they began asking ¹  him to stay with them. ²  He stayed there two days,

But I will stay in Ephesus ¹  until Pentecost,

Live with him for a little while ¹  until your brother’s rage subsides.

Then he said to them, “My soul is deeply grieved, even to the point of death. Remain here and stay awake with me.”

He said to them, “Wherever you enter a house, stay there ¹  until you leave the area.

There ¹  we found ²  some brothers ³  and were invited to stay with them seven days. And in this way we came to Rome. ⁴

There are those ¹  who rebel against the light; they do not know its ways and they do not stay on its paths.

Pray to the Lord, for the mighty ¹  thunderings and hail are too much! ²  I will release you and you will stay no longer.” ³

So he gave orders to have them baptized ¹  in the name of Jesus Christ. ²  Then they asked him to stay for several days.

and perhaps I will stay with you, or even spend the winter, so that you can send me on my journey, wherever I go.

And when Jesus came to that place, he looked up ¹  and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down quickly, ²  because I must ³  stay at your house today.” ⁴
