Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. ¹ 

Then God spoke to Noah and said,

This is the account of Noah. ¹  Noah was a godly man; he was blameless ²  among his contemporaries. ³  He ⁴  walked with ⁵  God.

male and female, came into the ark to Noah, ¹  just as God had commanded him. ² 

After Noah was 500 years old, he ¹  became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

But ¹  Noah found favor ²  in the sight of ³  the Lord.

Noah had ¹  three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

And Noah did all ¹  that God commanded him – he did indeed. ² 

And Noah did all ¹  that the Lord commanded him.

God said to Noah and his sons, ¹ 

Noah, a man of the soil, ¹  began to plant a vineyard. ² 

After the flood Noah lived 350 years.

Noah ¹  was 600 years old when the floodwaters engulfed ²  the earth.

Noah went out along with his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives.

These were the sons of Noah, and from them the whole earth was populated. ¹ 

When Noah awoke from his drunken stupor ¹  he learned ²  what his youngest son had done ³  to him.

For the daughters of Zelophehad – Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Noah – were married to the sons of their uncles. ¹ 

the son of Cainan, ¹  the son of Arphaxad, the son of Shem, the son of Noah, the son of Lamech,

On that very day Noah entered the ark, accompanied by his sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth, along with his wife and his sons’ three wives. ¹ 

“As far as I am concerned, this is like in Noah’s time, ¹  when I vowed that the waters of Noah’s flood ²  would never again cover the earth. In the same way I have vowed that I will not be angry at you or shout at you.
