Remember Lot’s wife! ¹ 

But Lot said to them, “No, please, Lord! ¹ 

Now Lot, who was traveling ¹  with Abram, also had ²  flocks, herds, and tents.

Lot went outside to them, shutting the door behind him.

The sun had just risen ¹  over the land as Lot reached Zoar. ² 

In this way both of Lot’s daughters became pregnant by their father.

The first lot went to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,

Lot chose for himself the whole region of the Jordan and traveled ¹  toward the east. So the relatives separated from each other. ² 

and Aaron is to cast lots over the two goats, ¹  one lot for the Lord and one lot for Azazel. ² 

The fourth lot belonged to the tribe of Issachar ¹  by its clans.

The fifth lot belonged to the tribe of Asher ¹  by its clans.

The sixth lot belonged to the tribe of Naphtali ¹  by its clans.

The seventh lot belonged to the tribe of Dan ¹  by its clans.

So the men inside ¹  reached out ²  and pulled Lot back into the house ³  as they shut the door.

Even Assyria has allied with them, lending its strength to the descendants of Lot. ¹  (Selah)

but on the day Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. ¹ 

and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man in anguish over the debauched lifestyle of lawless ¹  men, ² 

But Lot’s ¹  wife looked back longingly ²  and was turned into a pillar of salt.

The land must be divided by lot; and they will inherit in accordance with the names of their ancestral tribes.

Their inheritance must be apportioned ¹  by lot among the larger and smaller groups.
