There ¹  the wicked ²  cease ³  from turmoil, ⁴  and there the weary ⁵  are at rest.

I will fully satisfy the needs of those who are weary and fully refresh the souls of those who are faint. ¹ 

You gave the weary ¹  no water to drink and from the hungry you withheld food.

Even youths get tired and weary; even strong young men clumsily stumble. ¹ 

“My people, how have I wronged you? ¹  How have I wearied you? Answer me!

I am also aware ¹  that you have persisted steadfastly, ²  endured much for the sake of my name, and have not grown weary.

O God, you cause abundant showers to fall ¹  on your chosen people. ²  When they ³  are tired, you sustain them, ⁴ 

The toil of a stupid fool ¹  wears him out, ²  because he does not even know the way to the city. ³ 

We are pursued – they are breathing down our necks; ¹  we are weary and have no rest. ² 

So we must not grow weary ¹  in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not give up. ² 

Think of him who endured such opposition against himself by sinners, so that you may not grow weary in your souls and give up.
