Then the iron, clay, bronze, silver, and gold were broken in pieces without distinction ¹  and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors that the wind carries away. Not a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the statue became a large mountain that filled the entire earth.

“I will attack ¹  Judah and all who live in Jerusalem. ²  I will remove ³  from this place every trace of Baal worship, ⁴  as well as the very memory ⁵  of the pagan priests. ⁶ 

They are destroyed ¹  between morning and evening; ²  they perish forever ³  without anyone regarding it. ⁴ 

“When they return to it, they will remove from it all its detestable things and all its abominations.

So Jehu eradicated Baal worship ¹  from Israel.

But Melchizedek ¹  who does not share their ancestry ²  collected a tithe ³  from Abraham and blessed ⁴  the one who possessed the promise.

“I said, ‘I want to cut them in pieces. ¹  I want to make people forget they ever existed.

There was no more war until the thirty-fifth year of Asa’s reign.

“If I go to the east, he is not there, and to the west, yet I do not perceive him.

The east wind carries him away, and he is gone; it sweeps him out of his place.

So get rid of ¹  all evil and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander.

Bread made without yeast must be eaten ¹  for seven days; ²  no bread made with yeast shall be seen ³  among you, and you must have no yeast among you within any of your borders.

The Lord said to Moses, “Write this as a memorial in the ¹  book, and rehearse ²  it in Joshua’s hearing; ³  for I will surely wipe out ⁴  the remembrance ⁵  of Amalek from under heaven.
