I ¹  have given her time to repent, but ²  she is not willing to repent of her sexual immorality.

Therefore produce fruit ¹  that proves your ²  repentance,

Therefore I despise myself, ¹  and I repent in dust and ashes!

“Repent, ¹  for the kingdom of heaven is near.”

So ¹  they went out and preached that all should repent.

They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their sufferings ¹  and because of their sores, ²  but nevertheless ³  they still refused to repent ⁴  of their deeds.

No, I tell you! But unless you repent ¹  you will all perish as well!” ² 

and repentance ¹  for the forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed ²  in his name to all nations, ³  beginning from Jerusalem. ⁴ 

Furthermore, ¹  they did not repent of their murders, of their magic spells, ²  of their sexual immorality, or of their stealing.

From that time Jesus began to preach this message: ¹  “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”

In the wilderness ¹  John the baptizer ²  began preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. ³ 

He ¹  went into all the region around the Jordan River, ²  preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. ³ 

I have not come ¹  to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” ² 

No, I tell you! But unless you repent, ¹  you will all perish as well! ² 

Then ¹  the rich man ²  said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone from the dead ³  goes to them, they will repent.’

Before ¹  Jesus ²  arrived, John ³  had proclaimed a baptism for repentance ⁴  to all the people of Israel.

All those ¹  I love, I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent!

but I declared to those in Damascus first, and then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, ¹  and to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, ²  performing deeds consistent with ³  repentance.

Therefore, remember from what high state ¹  you have fallen and repent! Do ²  the deeds you did at the first; ³  if not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place – that is, if you do not repent. ⁴ 

I tell you, in the same way there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner ¹  who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people ²  who have no need to repent. ³
