For when the priesthood changes, a change in the law must come ¹  as well.

You yourselves know that these hands of mine ¹  provided for my needs and the needs of those who were with me.

Here is another way that our people ¹  can learn ²  to engage in good works to meet pressing needs and so not be unfruitful.

He ordered Judah to seek the Lord God of their ancestors ¹  and to observe his law and commands. ² 

Such purity characterizes the people who seek his favor, Jacob’s descendants, who pray to him. ¹  (Selah)

I sought the Lord’s help ¹  and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.

Boast about his holy name! Let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice!

Seek the Lord while he makes himself available; ¹  call to him while he is nearby!

ט (Tet) The Lord is good to those who trust ¹  in him, to the one ²  who seeks him.

and those who turn their backs on ¹  the Lord and do not want the Lord’s help or guidance.” ² 

For it seemed best to the Holy Spirit and to us ¹  not to place any greater burden on you than these necessary rules: ² 

Because of the impending crisis I think it best for you to remain as you are.

On the contrary, those members that seem to be weaker are essential,
