An honorable man makes honorable plans; his honorable character gives him security. ¹ 

A generous person ¹  will be enriched, ²  and the one who provides water ³  for others ⁴  will himself be satisfied. ⁵ 

You must supply them generously ¹  from your flock, your threshing floor, and your winepress – as the Lord your God has blessed you, you must give to them.

that during a severe ordeal of suffering, their abundant joy and their extreme poverty have overflowed in the wealth ¹  of their generosity.

if it is exhortation, he must exhort; if it is contributing, he must do so with sincerity; if it is leadership, he must do so with diligence; if it is showing mercy, he must do so with cheerfulness.

Through the evidence ¹  of this service ²  they will glorify God because of your obedience to your confession in the gospel of Christ and the generosity of your sharing ³  with them and with everyone.

You will be enriched in every way so that you may be generous on every occasion, ¹  which is producing through us thanksgiving to God,

But if anyone is deficient in wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without reprimand, and it will be given to him.

So if the son ¹  sets you free, you will be really free.

Drinks ¹  were served in golden containers, all of which differed from one another. Royal wine was available in abundance at the king’s expense.

Then, when I arrive, I will send those whom you approve with letters of explanation to carry your gift to Jerusalem. ¹ 

For you say, ‘Where now is the nobleman’s house, ¹  and where are the tents in which the wicked lived?’ ² 

All day long he shows compassion and lends to others, ¹  and his children ²  are blessed.

Many people entreat the favor ¹  of a generous person, ²  and everyone is the friend ³  of the person who gives gifts. ⁴ 

A fool will no longer be called honorable; a deceiver will no longer be called principled.

When the wall has collapsed, people will ask you, “Where is the whitewash you coated it with?”

that the creation itself will also be set free from the bondage of decay into the glorious freedom of God’s children.

We did this ¹  as a precaution so that no one should blame us in regard to this generous gift we are administering.

Tell them to do good, ¹  to be rich in good deeds, to be generous givers, sharing with others. ² 

saying to the sixth angel, the one holding ¹  the trumpet, “Set free ²  the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates!”
