and assemble the whole congregation at the entrance of the Meeting Tent.” ¹ 

The whole community of Israel must observe it.

So the whole community of the Israelites went out from the presence of Moses.

Then Moses said to the congregation: “This is what the Lord has commanded to be done.”

“Separate yourselves ¹  from among this community, ²  that I may consume them in an instant.”

The entire company ¹  of Israelites murmured against Moses and Aaron in the desert.

¹ Then all the community raised a loud cry, ²  and the people wept ³  that night.

“Tell the community: ‘Get away ¹  from around the homes of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.’”

And there was no water for the community, and so they gathered themselves together against Moses and Aaron.

So the entire company of Israelites ¹  traveled from Kadesh and came to Mount Hor. ² 

I almost ¹  came to complete ruin ²  in the midst of the whole congregation!” ³ 

They came back ¹  to Moses and Aaron and to the whole community of the Israelites in the wilderness of Paran at Kadesh. ²  They reported ³  to the whole community and showed the fruit of the land.

When ¹  Korah assembled the whole community against them at the entrance of the tent of meeting, then the glory of the Lord appeared to the whole community.

So Moses did just as the Lord commanded him, and the congregation assembled at the entrance of the Meeting Tent.

there were 337,500 sheep from the portion belonging to the community,

The Israelites did not attack them because the leaders of the community had sworn an oath to them in the name of the Lord God of Israel. ¹  The whole community criticized ²  the leaders,

I am safe, ¹  and among the worshipers I will praise the Lord.

¹ Moses spoke to the whole community of the Israelites, “This is the word that the Lord has commanded:

“Take a census ¹  of the entire ²  Israelite community ³  by their clans and families, ⁴  counting the name of every individual male. ⁵ 

These were the ones chosen ¹  from the community, leaders ²  of their ancestral tribes. ³  They were the heads of the thousands ⁴  of Israel.
