the kite, the buzzard of any kind, ¹ 

These are the ones you may not eat: the eagle, ¹  the vulture, ²  the black vulture, ³ 

“‘These you are to detest from among the birds – they must not be eaten, because they are detestable: ¹  the griffon vulture, the bearded vulture, the black vulture,

I am like an owl ¹  in the wilderness; I am like a screech owl ²  among the ruins. ³ 

The Philistine said to David, “Come here to me, so I can give your flesh to the birds of the sky and the wild animals of the field!” ¹
