When day came, they did not recognize the land, but they noticed ¹  a bay ²  with a beach, ³  where they decided to run the ship aground if they could.

When it was already very early morning, Jesus stood on the beach, but the disciples did not know that it was Jesus.

So they slipped ¹  the anchors ²  and left them in the sea, at the same time loosening the linkage ³  that bound the steering oars ⁴  together. Then they hoisted ⁵  the foresail ⁶  to the wind and steered toward ⁷  the beach.

When ¹  our time was over, ²  we left and went on our way. All of them, with their wives and children, accompanied ³  us outside of the city. After ⁴  kneeling down on the beach and praying, ⁵ 

When they got out on the beach, ¹  they saw a charcoal fire ready ²  with a fish placed on it, and bread.

After they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret. ¹ 

And such a large crowd gathered around him that he got into a boat to sit while ¹  the whole crowd stood on the shore.

When it was full, they pulled it ashore, sat down, and put the good fish into containers and threw the bad away.

Then the Lord commanded ¹  the fish and it disgorged Jonah on dry land.

On that day after Jesus went out of the house, he sat by the lake.

After they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret ¹  and anchored there.

The people of Judah and Israel were as innumerable as the sand on the seashore; they had plenty to eat and drink and were happy.

So ¹  when they had brought their boats to shore, they left everything and followed ²  him.

I will indeed bless you, ¹  and I will greatly multiply ²  your descendants ³  so that they will be as countless as the stars in the sky or the grains of sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession ⁴  of the strongholds ⁵  of their enemies.

They will summon peoples to the mountain, there they will sacrifice proper ¹  sacrifices; for they will enjoy ²  the abundance of the seas, and the hidden treasures of the shores. ³ 

These kings came out with their armies; they were as numerous as the sand on the seashore and had a large number of horses and chariots. ¹ 

Certainly ¹  spending just one day in your temple courts is better than spending a thousand elsewhere. ²  I would rather stand at the entrance ³  to the temple of my God than live ⁴  in the tents of the wicked.

As ¹  he was walking by the Sea of Galilee he saw two brothers, Simon (called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea (for they were fishermen). ² 

Everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.
