with such affection for you ¹  we were happy ²  to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us.

But we will praise the Lord now and forevermore. Praise the Lord!

Husbands, love your wives and do not be embittered against them.

O family ¹  of Israel, praise the Lord! O family of Aaron, praise the Lord!

O family of Levi, praise the Lord! You loyal followers ¹  of the Lord, praise the Lord!

Every day I will praise you! I will praise your name continually! ¹ 

All he has made will give thanks to the Lord. Your loyal followers will praise you.

Be devoted to one another with mutual love, showing eagerness in honoring one another.

and to esteem them most highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.

by casting ¹  all your cares ²  on him because he cares for you.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give him thanks! Praise his name!
