And many believed in Jesus ¹  there.

The one who believes and is baptized will be saved, but the one who does not believe will be condemned.

“Do not let your hearts be distressed. ¹  You believe in God; ²  believe also in me.

concerning sin, because ¹  they do not believe in me; ² 

But the word of God ¹  kept on increasing ²  and multiplying.

And ¹  in that you saw iron mixed with wet clay, so people will be mixed ²  with one another ³  without adhering to one another, just as ⁴  iron does not mix with clay.

For if they become heirs by the law, faith is empty and the promise is nullified. ¹ 

because they did not have faith in God, and did not trust his ability to deliver them. ¹ 

and because of his word many more ¹  believed.

(For not even his own brothers believed in him.) ¹ 

While he was saying these things, many people ¹  believed in him.

But because I am telling you ¹  the truth, you do not believe me.

All who believed were together and held ¹  everything in common,

This became known throughout all ¹  Joppa, and many believed in the Lord. ² 

For this reason it is by faith so that it may be by grace, ¹  with the result that the promise may be certain to all the descendants – not only to those who are under the law, but also to those who have the faith of Abraham, ²  who is the father of us all

Despite all this, they continued to sin, and did not trust him to do amazing things. ¹ 

And pointing ¹  toward his disciples he said, “Here ²  are my mother and my brothers!

He came as a witness ¹  to testify ²  about the light, so that everyone ³  might believe through him.

I tell you the solemn truth, ¹  the one who believes ²  has eternal life. ³ 

The man ¹  replied, ²  “And who is he, sir, that ³  I may believe in him?”
