Beth Arabah, Zemaraim, Bethel, ¹ 

the men of Bethel ¹  and Ai: 223;

the men of Bethel ¹  and Ai, 123;

the king of Makkedah (one), the king of Bethel ¹  (one),

the king of Jericho ¹  (one), the king of Ai – located near Bethel – (one),

The southern border ¹  extended from Bethel to Luz, ²  and crossed to Arkite territory at Ataroth.

When the men ¹  of Joseph attacked ²  Bethel, ³  the Lord was with them.

He put one in Bethel ¹  and the other in Dan.

And he journeyed from place to place ¹  from the Negev as far as Bethel. ²  He returned ³  to the place where he had pitched his tent ⁴  at the beginning, between Bethel and Ai.

He called that place Bethel, ¹  although the former name of the town was Luz.

Jacob and all those who were with him arrived at Luz (that is, Bethel) ¹  in the land of Canaan. ² 

Jacob named the place ¹  where God spoke with him Bethel. ² 

When the men of Joseph spied out Bethel (it used to be called Luz),

The gift was for those in the following locations: ¹  for those in Bethel, ²  Ramoth Negev, and Jattir;

So he started back on another road; he did not travel back on the same road he had taken to Bethel.

Some of the descendants of ¹  Benjamin settled in Geba, ²  Micmash, Aija, Bethel ³  and its villages,

The people of Moab will be disappointed by their god Chemosh. They will be as disappointed as the people of Israel were when they put their trust in the calf god at Bethel. ¹ 

Don’t prophesy at Bethel ¹  any longer, for a royal temple and palace are here!” ² 

However, there is an annual festival to the Lord in Shiloh, which is north of Bethel ¹  (east of the main road that goes up from Bethel to Shechem) and south of Lebonah.”

Elijah told Elisha, “Stay here, for the Lord has sent me to Bethel.” ¹  But Elisha said, “As certainly as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.
