all the people of Edom, ¹  Moab, ²  Ammon; ³ 

Gebal, ¹  Ammon, and Amalek, Philistia and the inhabitants of Tyre. ² 

Yet in days to come I will reverse Ammon’s ill fortune.” ¹  says the Lord. ² 

Also in those days I saw the men of Judah who had married women from Ashdod, Ammon, and Moab.

But the Ammonite king disregarded ¹  the message sent by Jephthah. ²

But when you come close to the Ammonites, do not harass or provoke them because I am not giving you any of the Ammonites’ land as your possession; I have already given it to Lot’s descendants ¹  as their possession.

I will hand it over, ¹  along with the Ammonites, ²  to the tribes ³  of the east, so that the Ammonites will no longer be remembered among the nations.

It was some time after this when the Ammonites fought with Israel.

When they began to shout and praise, the Lord suddenly attacked ¹  the Ammonites, Moabites, and men from Mount Seir ²  who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.

But the Israelites ¹  defeated him in battle ²  and took possession of his land from the Arnon to the Jabbok, as far as the Ammonites, for the border of the Ammonites was strongly defended.

When the Ammonites saw the Arameans flee, they fled before his brother Abishai and went into the city. Joab withdrew from fighting the Ammonites and returned to ¹  Jerusalem. ² 

and all the cities of King Sihon of the Amorites who ruled in Heshbon, and ended at the Ammonite border.

Eglon formed alliances with ¹  the Ammonites and Amalekites. He came and defeated Israel, and they seized the City of Date Palm Trees.

The Ammonites assembled ¹  and camped in Gilead; the Israelites gathered together and camped in Mizpah.

and said to him, “This is what Jephthah says, ‘Israel did not steal ¹  the land of Moab and the land of the Ammonites.

including ¹  Aram, ²  Moab, the Ammonites, the Philistines, and Amelek. This also included some of the plunder taken from ³  King Hadadezer son of Rehob of Zobah.

¹ So Joab fought against Rabbah of the Ammonites and captured the royal city.

But Ishmael son of Nethaniah managed to escape from Johanan along with eight of his men, and he went on over to Ammon.

Now the Ammonites, Moabites, and men from Mount Seir are coming! ¹  When Israel came from the land of Egypt, you did not allow them to invade these lands. ²  They bypassed them and did not destroy them.
